 Today we just took a small quiz about supporting and opposing arguments. I got a good grade on that quiz. Today was okay.

 Today we had a block day. We wrote our claims and evidences onto paper and made two paragraphs. Today was fun.

 Today I read four articles, writing their supporting and opposing claims with Evidence. Two of them were about student-athletes and the other two was about how social media impacts teenagers. Today was chill.

 Today, we identified Claims from an Article. Three-year bachelor’s degrees could save families thousands - but are students ready?, it’s about students taking a three year bachelor’s degree instead of four years. Today was okay, can’t wait for the weekend! 

 Today we continued on citing textual evidence with Newsela. Hitting “snooze” can boost morning cognition, study hints. This article explains why hitting snooze has great benefits. Today was great but pretty tired.

 We continue to practice citing textual evidence with Newsela. Fast-food giants overwork teenagers, driving America’s children labor crisis. This article is about Teenagers overworking, having less sleep and lake of their school performance. Today was great.

 Today we went over citing textual evidence and practice with it on a Newsela article. Tech-related Job Are the Future, its about the advancement on technology especially in the work industry. I read the passage and answered the MC questions and the questions in Canvas. Today was chill, can’t wait for the weekend.

 Today we continued to do the benchmark. I finished the benchmark, and i think i did pretty decent on it but im not sure about the written part. Today is fun so far, hopefully the rest of the day remains the same.

 We did a benchmark for this class. It helps us get prepared for the EOC and check what we know. I wasn’t finished but will finish tomorrow. Today was a good day, I went to church and painted my nails.

 Today we read and analyzed The poem “We Real Cool” by  Gwendolyn Brooks. We first read then analyzed the poem, about 7 teenagers playing pool and doing bad things that they think are pretty cool. Today was a chill day, and make it til Friday.
